Education Above All

Education Above All (EAA) Foundation was established in 2012. Its aim is to build a global movement that contributes to human, social and economic development through the provision of quality education. With a particular focus on those affected by poverty, conflict and disaster, it champions the needs of children, youth and women to empower them to become active members of their communities. In addition to providing access to education for children around the world, we also advocate to safeguard inclusive and quality education for all, as well as award scholarships to talented but disadvantaged youth. EAA Foundation is comprised of four key programmes: Educate A Child, Al Fakhoora, Reach Out To Asia and Protect Education in Insecurity and Conflict.

Working with global, national, regional, and local partners, we have been successful in implementing proven and innovative interventions in education, and in protecting the right to education in a number of places under threat. As an advocate of education, we have also collaborated with leading global organizations to resolve a range of education-related challenges.

Education Above All Foundation is committed to playing an important role in achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4, adopted by the UN in 2015, ensuring inclusive and quality education for all. EAA is the only global foundation that is a member of the UNESCO SDG-Education Steering Committee, and a member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council
